If nothing else helps, you might want to consider installing a Bypass-Module. As it's name gives it away, such a module bypasses the originally installed immobilizer and allows normal oparation. It's perfectly legal and you can still add an aftermarket alarm or remote if you want.

Explorer 95er to 96er model year

1. The going away barrier deactivate (alarm installation must be deactivated).

2. Within 1 minute ignition on switch, the warning concerns. After 3 seconds expires to control rooms to the warning, ignition switches off, after 1 second.

3. Within 3 seconds ignition on switch, the warning concerns. After 3 seconds expires to control rooms off to the warning, ignition switch.

4. The work procedure 3 - 10x against-get. After 10 times ignition switch on, flashes the warning

5. At the hand transmitter which can be programmed approx. 5x operates the pushbutton so long in the second flashes to the warning lamp. The hand transmitter is programmed.

6. Within 1 minute all hand transmitters, like in the work procedure 5, should be specified progammiert. After 1 minute or after progamming of the 4th hand transmitter, the system leaves the progammmodus. If the ignition is switched off for 1 minute, must again be begun with 1.

At vehicles, built to beginning job 1 (pilot lot), must be activated the going away barrier (if necessary 2 minutes to wait). The ignition, position C (run) and approx. 30 switches on - 45 minutes wait. (The warning going away barrier flashes during the whole period). At expiration of these 30 minutes clicking is audible. Explorer 95er bis 96er Modelljahr

1. Die Wegfahrsperre deaktivieren ( Alarmanlage muß deaktiviert sein ).

2. Innerhalb von 1 Minute Zündung einschalten, die Warnanzeige geht an. Warten bis die Warnanzeige nach 3 Sekunden erlischt, Zündung ausschalten, nach 1 Sekunde.

3. Innerhalb von 3 Sekunden Zündung einschalten, die Warnanzeige geht an. Warten bis die Warnanzeige nach 3 Sekunden erlischt, Zündung ausschalten.

4. Den Arbeitsschritt 3 - 10x widerholen. Nach 10 maligem Zündung einschalten, blinkt die Warnanzeige.

5. An dem zu programmierenden Handsender den Druckknopf solange betätigen bis die Warnleuchte ca. 5x in der Sekunde blinkt. Der Handsender ist programmiert.

6. Innerhalb 1 Minute sollten alle Handsender , wie im Arbeitsschritt 5 aufgeführt, progammiert werden. Nach 1 Minute oder nach Progammieren des 4. Handsenders, verläßt das System den Progammiermodus. Wird die Zündung für 1 Minute ausgeschaltet , muß bei 1. neu begonnen werden.

An Fahrzeugen, gebaut bis Anfang Job 1 ( Vorserie ), muß die Wegfahrsperre aktiviert sein (ggf. 2 Minuten warten). Die Zündung einschalten, Stellung C ( Run ) und ca 30 - 45 Minuten warten. ( Die Warnanzeige-Wegfahrsperre blinkt über den ganzen Zeitraum ). Nach Ablauf dieser 30 Minuten ist ein Klicken hörbar. Die Intank Kraftstoff Pumpe läuft an und die Warnanzeige, Wegfahrsperre erlischt.
Zündung ausschalten und direkt mit Arbeitsschritt 2 fortfahren.

Nur haben die dort von den Bosch Transmittern eher kaum eine Ahnung, denn die gab's nur für die deutsche Exportausführung. Hier hatten die Handsender zu der Zeit (bereits ab Modelljahr 1993) 3 Tasten und waren von Ford. Und im Gegensatz zu den Bosch-Dingern sind damit auch kaum Probleme bekannt.

My explorer come from German, because I'm italian and I live in France but here it's impossible to find one.

Unfortunately, the Transponder Bypass we carry will not work in a '96 model. I've just checked the applications list and it says precisely 1999 - 2005 Explorer models only.

In addition, I did not find a comparable poduct for the '96 model. This doesn't necessarily mean that there isn't any available. Only we don't get it from our usual suppliers/manufacturers.

I do hope, your programming attempt works out today.
